Afleet Alex made a miraculous recovery in the Preakness Stakes, keeping balance after being tripped up by Scrappy T at the top of the stretch and galloping to victory. Afleet Alex then went on to capture the Belmont Stakes, giving him two of the three Triple Crown victories.
