Seattle Slew W/Tickets

18" x 24"

Seattle Slew was foaled on February 15, 1974 at Ben Castleman's White Horse Acres Farm near Lexington , Kentucky . The son of My Charmer and Bold Reasoning, not many people at the time thought he would ever amount to a great thoroughbred champion. He didn't appear the prettiest horse, and he wasn't the most coordinated, but there was something about him, something that only the great ones have and no one can ever really truly describe. Seattle Slew won the Triple Crown in 1977 on his way to a
career record of 14 firsts and 2 seconds in 17 races. This piece also includes replica tickets from Seattle Slew's Triple Crown season.
