Herbert Warren Wind, who in 1958 was working for Sports
Illustrated as a writer, decided the 11th, 12th, and 13th holes
at Augusta National deserved to be named. He remembered
an old jazz number called "Shouting in the Amen Corner."
"It fit," Wind said, "You hit a good shot, you're fine. But if you
hit it in the water, say, 'Amen.'" This piece captures the sheer
beauty of three of the most challenging holes in golf. The
SP132X is a smaller version of the SP132. |
