The Iron Horse

Gehrig is one of the true All-Time greats of baseball. He enjoyed thirteen consecutive seasons with 100 runs
and 100 RBIs. In thirteen years with The Yankees, Gehrig won six World Series Titles. Gehrig was the undisputed batting champ in 1934 when he won the Triple Crown. Lou was also honored at the end of his career by being the first Major League Baseball
player to have his number retired.

The Babe


He was baseball's first great slugger and themost celebrated athlete of his time. He debuted as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, winning 89 games over six seasons. He was traded to the Yankees and converted to the outfield because of his awesome
power. His career included highlights of 60 homers in one season (1927) and 714 homers overall.
